The wineries - our favorite places

We guarantee you. We have everything. Terroir, weather, soils, grapes. And not just once, but in multiple versions. Because together you have more soil. Steep and not-so-steep slopes, good weather full of sunshine, and weather that people say is “bad.” We could tell you many stories about the vineyards. But so many others are already doing that. We’re not that pathetic. We prefer to let you taste
and guess. We like it down-to-earth.

Where the Glanzer Kellerstraße is at its steepest, the Germuth family transformed a small farmhouse into a winery with guesthouse around 20 years ago. Today, Herbert, Heidi, and Stefan run the estate with around 6.5 hectares of vineyards — shaped by origin, home, and craftsmanship.
I understood early on that wine demands patience – and that becoming a winemaker requires it just the same.
Where southern Styria begins — with gentle hills and its unmistakable charm.
Our home mountain is the highest point around. From its summit, you can see as far as Graz and Riegersburg – it’s where I feel most at home.
From the first vine planted to the final touch – our work is where tradition meets a spirit of experimentation. For seven generations, we’ve shaped wines and sparkling wines with a distinct signature and character.
You can plan all you want, yet outside, soil, weather, and time always have the last word. And that’s precisely what drives me.
High above, at the peak of the South Styrian Wine Road, the winery stands on its own stage: 33 hectares of vineyards that turn every vintage into a new performance. What emerges here are wines with clarity, character, and lasting resonance. Was hier entsteht, ist Wein mit Klarheit, Charakter und Nachhall.
“I like to keep things straightforward – in my wines just as much as in the work in the vineyard. No fuss, just clarity, honesty, and intuition.”
